Tell us a bit about you and your role at VC Innovations?
I’m Laura and I lead the Future Identity portfolio at VC Innovations. This brand is a recent launch for us and focuses on all the latest innovations shaping tomorrow’s identity ecosystem. I’m lucky that my role is pretty varied! I create articles and reports for our content hub, develop our community and build partnerships, moderate discussions with some fascinating speakers, put together unique virtual and in-person events, work on strategic planning for the portfolio, keep up with all the latest in the world of identity, and (alongside a fantastic team) make great things happen for our clients.
We will start with the assumption that you love all aspects of your job but what is the best bit?
The best part of my job is getting to take an idea and quickly make it reality. A lightbulb moment can turn into research, planning, design, collaboration, production and before you know it, is out there for our community to read, watch, engage with and enjoy! I love seeing content come to life.

It’s Friday night (in normal times) – do you: Grab a bottle of wine and turn on Netflix, head straight to the gym or grab that new outfit and head out to with friends?
I would love to say heading out with friends, but honestly if a Friday night involves wine and Netflix I’m pretty content!
